Energy balancing is identifying positive currents of injury in the human bodymind and facilitating their re-balancing using specific methods.

This energy balancing is based in a perception of the human bodymind functioning as an electrical-electromagnetic organism. From the DC in the meningeal-perineural tissue of the nervous system to the electro-chemical gradient inside the mitochondria of all energy-producing cells in the body, polarized currents maintain the form and formality of the human bodymind. This understanding comprehends biomechanical, biochemical, and psychological interpretations of fragments of the bodymind. It is truly holistic.

This energy balancing and this perception of the human bodymind are different from that of conventional medicine and science and different from even the so-called alternative healing approaches.

Conventional and alternative medical and health modalities make a diagnosis. Then, by matching diagnosis with a substance conventionally known to have effect, a prescription of the substance is recommended with a "wait and see" attitude.

Conventional medical science operates under the assumption that a disease has a single cause and that proper medicine is that which has a remedial effect specific to the cause. For example, heart disease is caused by high cholesterol and a cholesterol-lowering statin drug is the correct prescription. Conventional medical science operates under this assumption because it is embedded in Western logical philosophy.

While some more open-minded conventional doctors may recommend exercise and dietary changes in addition to the statin prescription, their understanding and perception of function in the human bodymind is unchanged from the one-cause, one-effect model.

From the holistic perception, disease usually manifests as a result of several factors that have encroached upon healthy function and tissue over a period of time.

Energy balancing determines the imbalances, which are identified as positive currents of injury, and, based on the bodymind's reaction, makes recommendations that facilitate re-balancing without unwanted side-effects.

Technologically top-heavy conventional medical diagnostic procedures do not seem to improve medical practice in general, judging from controversies over antibiotic-resistant micro-organisms and harmful effects of over-exposure to radiation from medical radiology, to name just two emerging phenomena. Based on what researchers have determined from patient treatment outcome studies, and by doctors' own admission, doctors don't know what they're doing.

This technology, upon which most doctors are dependent, has roots in a science that demands objectivity. It is not understood, however, how these technologies mediate and interfere with a doctor's evaluation of a patient and how they change medical practice in general. We often welcome "new and improved" medical technology without knowing if it will improve health care.

This energy balancing utilizes a methodology that is the least mediating of all health evaluation technologies: indicator muscle testing. This muscle testing works on digital neuromuscular function in the context of the analog electro-magnetic form of the bodymind.
